Since Paint The Town Green opened the showroom on Allfarthing Lane at the start of 2016, we’ve been spreading the word about our non-toxic paint, which matches the quality of other leading designer paints, but with strong eco values.
We’ve been speaking to Interior designers to let them know about our new range of colours and in doing so we came across Debbie Blott and her community of local businesses, The Décor Café Network.
Debbie herself writes for Time and Leisure magazine covering interiors, and came to chat to us in the Showroom. Rather than meeting interior designers one by one, we decided to host an event to bring everyone we’d met so far together with members of the Décor Café Network who we hadn’t met yet.
One Sunny Wednesday in July we hosted an Interior Design evening in partnership with the Décor Café Network. The showroom was buzzing as a mix of interior designers, décor product and business experts came together. With a pop of prosecco everyone was mingling, meeting new contacts or catching up with friends.
We were struck by the sense of community within the members, they were truly interested in what we had to say, and all relevant parties on the scene. Above all they are knowledgeable, motivated and friendly. Exactly the kind of inspiring people we’d like to work with.
After the success of our Interior Design Evening, we have decided to join the Décor Café Network and are pleased to announce we are now members.
We are looking forward to learning more about our fellow members and becoming part of the Décor Café Network Community. We’re starting by joining the Club Members morning on Social Media, to learn more about Instagram.
