We were lucky enough to look round Ceramacist Sandy Latyon's Eco Home in South West London.
On first impressions we were blown away by the space and how light and open it is. We walked into an impressive room which was completely renovated with the help of Stephen Leccacorvi of Frost Architects. Rather than knocking down and rebuilding the house, the original building was preserved, to be mindful of carbon footprint. The juxtaposition of the old and new, including modern architecture with eco features gives the house a soul and a uniquely beautiful look.
The details in the home were delightful:
The sink design was created by Sandy and her daughter.
We enjoyed seeing clever design features such as the fridge being recessed into the wall so it didn't protrude into the space.
Thanks to the Decor Cafe Network for another interesting and inspiring event.
